The facility is clean and well presented. I was put off a bit by the initial welcome where you are told of the charge for losing your pool ticket, the fact you can only go to breakfast once etc. After that the facility is very nice and all staff were very helpful. One area that was an issue was the ‘paper thin’ walls between rooms. You can hear everything that is going on, including next doors air conditioning unit causing a rattle. I guess they saved a couple of dollars. The pools are nice ( and we’re quiet when we were there) and the view of the volcano is great. Breakfast was good.

I was really looking forward to this hotel. But it was not what we expected. The hot springs spas are nice, but very crowded. This property is large and you need to use their shuttle service everywhere. ( We did not do a rental car) If you want ice for your room... ugh. You have to call the restaurant to come deliver it like room service with the $5.00 delivery fee. To use the hot springs you have to go through a towel monitor, who shoves a tip jar in your way, if you ask a question. To get to your room with luggage in their shuttle is another sore spot. They just drop you off near your building. It just wasn't what we were expecting.

The hotel has the most amazing view of the volcano. Our room was on a corner in which we were able to see the sunrise and volcano. The hot springs are amazing and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and had many items to choose from. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Very close to downtown La Fortuna.

Had several pool and thermal pool options. 2 water slides that my child loved. You can also do ziplining, horseback riding, and other tours. A beautiful lookout of arenal mountain although the view from the bottom of the resort is just as fantastic. Beautiful property. The rooms are nice and the bathroom is huge. Everybody was really friendly.

Room was great, food was great, pools and activities were great. This was a highlight of our already wonderful trip. I definitely recommend. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Property was beautiful very quiet in rooms. Pools and hot springs were nice. Enjoyed dinner buffet and breakfast both were great. Only wish they had ice available. Our room did have a refrigerator though. The viewpoint was nice.

Nuestra estadía en el hotel Los Lagos fue simplemente maravillosa. Desde el primer momento, el personal nos recibió con una sonrisa y nos hizo sentir como en casa. Las habitaciones estaban impecables, cómodas y con una vista espectacular al entorno natural. Uno de los grandes atractivos es la piscina de aguas termales, perfecta para relajarse después de un día de excursiones. La ubicación es ideal, cerca de los principales atractivos turísticos de la zona, y el restaurante del hotel ofrece una variedad deliciosa de platillos locales e internacionales. Además, el desayuno incluido fue abundante y sabroso. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que busque una combinación de comodidad, naturaleza y excelente servicio. ¡Definitivamente regresaremos!

Beautiful resort we were there just for one night but the memory will last forever. Very nicely spread, thermal pools, bathrooms are spacious and super clean. Our rooms were quite large up on the hill, they offer shutlle to bring you to the pools and such, impressed with the surrounding view of the Arenal Volcano, breakfast very enriched for all taste out there, would love to go back to this place. The Resort offers early check ins and use of the facilities before and after. You will love this place, Pura Vida.

Property was expnsive nd had many activities, good breakfast and friendly staff. Had issues with no AC for almost 2 days to get moved to a new room and the new room was more dated and needed a refresh but we made it work. Would recommend based on hot springs options,and staff!

The hotel and grounds were excellent. Cleanliness was great as well the staff in the restaurant and bar were also wonderful. The staff in the reception could use some client service training. Some of them were a bit rude and did not provide all of the details of the property when we first checked in. We were expecting to feel welcome and have someone greeting us with some enthusiasm and energy and instead we felt like we were bothering her when we first checked in. Just a reminder for some customer service training for the reception staff.

Clean room, great pools for kids and wonderful hot pools. Very cool only complaint would be the pol bar music was bad subwoofer just kills the music. Better music would be wonderful. The breakfast really great and the dinner food was good as well. I would stay again.
