What you can expect

Experience an authentic culinary journey in the heart of Dalmatia, in a warm family setting where traditions have been passed down for generations. The experience begins with a welcome from your hosts, an introduction to local heritage, and a relaxed social gathering with guests while tasting homemade liqueurs.
Next, you will enjoy a live demonstration of traditional Dalmatian “peka” preparation, learning the full process and technique of slow-cooking under a heated iron bell covered with embers. After that, you take part in a hands-on workshop where you prepare traditional kroštule using a century-old family recipe, kneading and shaping the dough yourself.
The culinary experience continues with a selection of local delicacies such as prosciutto, Pag cheese, sardines, anchovies, homemade bread, and olive oil. The main course is a traditional peka meal, followed by dessert – kroštule you have made yourself, served with a glass of prošek, a traditional Dalmatian sweet dessert wine. This experience combines authentic flavours, heritage, and genuine Dalmatian hospitality.
