Overview

This experience takes place in a family-run winery nestled among the hills at the foot of the medieval village of Caserta Vecchia, in an authentic area still far from mass tourism. During the visit, guests will discover rare native grape varieties such as Pallagrello Bianco, Pallagrello Nero, and Casavecchia, deeply connected to the history of the ancient Terra Laboris.

The tour is led directly by the winery owners, who will share their storey, production philosophy, and the winemaking traditions that have been preserved for generations.

The experience concludes with a guided tasting of four glasses of wine, paired with a local aperitivo featuring selected regional products, designed to highlight the pairings and showcase the authentic flavours of the area.

Activity itinerary

Travellers will visit a traditional winery located in the hills of Casola, at the foot of the medieval village of Caserta Vecchia. The experience begins with a guided tour of the production areas and the barrel cellar, led by the winery owners, where guests will learn about the history of Terra Laboris and the local winemaking traditions. Participants will discover native grape varieties such as Pallagrello Bianco, Pallagrello Nero, and Casavecchia while learning about the winemaking process and the strong connection between wine and the territory.
