What you can expect

Venture into a unique natural environment, located in Peruvian territory just across the border from Leticia, Colombia, that will captivate you from the very first moment. Your adventure begins at the Port of Leticia, where you will board a boat that will take you to the entrance of the nature reserve. There, you will begin a canoe trip through the majestic flooded forest. During the dry season, this experience becomes a 2- to 3-hour hike, adjusted to the group's pace, to reach the Peruvian reserve.

Throughout the tour, a native Spanish-speaking guide will accompany you, sharing their knowledge about the flora and fauna of this amazing ecosystem. Upon arriving at the reserve, you will feel the magic of the rainforest envelop you and invite you to form a deep connection with nature.

The experience continues in a cosy floating cabin, where you can rest and enjoy a lunch featuring authentic local cuisine. Afterwards, you will take a boat ride on the lake to witness a magical sunset, followed by an unforgettable dinner and a night's sleep in the midst of the rainforest. As night falls, you will embark on an exciting nocturnal safari to observe alligators and other Amazonian wildlife.

The next day, you will have the option of rising early to witness the birds waking up at sunrise. After breakfast, you will take part in an artisanal fishing activity and enjoy some free time to relax in the reserve before having lunch and setting off on the return journey to Leticia, sailing down the majestic Amazon River.
