The session takes place across three distinct locations, chosen for their light, atmosphere and visual contrast. Elias drives you between each stop. Wassim, a professional photographer and filmmaker, works quietly around you throughout — capturing moments as they happen, not as they're staged.
Stop 1 — Sedghiane: Whitewashed Village
The session begins in Sedghiane, one of Djerba's most visually striking villages. Narrow streets, centuries-old whitewashed walls, and doors painted in a deep blue found nowhere else on the island. Wassim works the light against the architecture while you walk and exist in the space naturally. The result: editorial-quality frames with a backdrop that looks handpainted.
Stop 2 — Oualegh: Ancient Mosque & Old Village
A short drive to Oualegh, home to one of Djerba's oldest mosques — thick geometric walls, UNESCO-listed heritage, and the kind of monumental scale that makes portraits feel cinematic. Wassim uses the architecture as a living backdrop, creating images where history and intimacy exist in the same frame.
Stop 3 — Cheikh Yahya Beach: Golden Hour
The centrepiece of the session. Cheikh Yahya is a wild, untouched stretch of coastline that faces west — meaning the light arrives exactly as a professional photographer needs it. No crowds, no tourist infrastructure. Just open sea, open sky, and a horizon that moves through gold, rose and deep amber as the sun drops. This is where the cinematic reel is shot. This is where the photos that last a lifetime happen.

The session is designed for couples and intimate groups of maximum 3 people. There is no posing pressure — Wassim's direction is light, natural, and built entirely around making you look like yourself in extraordinary places.
