What you can expect

  • Starting from the Cherbourg Cruise Terminal, we will head straight to Omaha Sector. On the beach, I will share the details of the largest amphibious operation ever made! You will learn about the 1st and 29th Infantry Divisions, who faced the heaviest casualties on Omaha Beach on June 6th 1944.

    Nearby, we will visit the Normandy American Cemetery, a deeply moving site where 9 388 soldiers rest in peace.
    We will also explore Pointe du Hoc. Preserved exactly as it was left, with bomb craters and bunkers, it tells the incredible storey of the brave rangers who scaled the cliffs

    After Lunch, we will visit Sainte-Mere-Eglise to discuss the heroic actions of the 101st and 82nd US Airborne Divisions. We will conclude our tour at Utah Beach, where the 4th US Infantry Division landed, led by the famous Brigadier General Theodore Roosevelt Jr!

    Finally, we will return to your ship at the Terminal. By the end of the day, you will have explore all the major sectors where American troops fought on D-Day!
