What you can expect

Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Morogoro. After a short briefing, set off on a scenic drive to Mikumi National Park.

Upon arrival, your guide will complete the entrance formalities before starting the morning game drive. Explore the park’s open plains and search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and many bird species.

At midday, stop at a designated picnic area to enjoy your packed lunch surrounded by the peaceful natural environment of the park. Depending on the location, you may also see hippos, monkeys, birds, or other wildlife nearby.

After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive through different areas of Mikumi National Park. Your guide will select the best routes based on recent wildlife movements, weather conditions, and animal activity.
