The family-friendly 3.5-kilometer hike through breathtaking Alpine landscapes takes you into the enchanting world of Vogellisi – the famous young woman from Adelboden who once fell head over heels in love with the mountains. A nature experience meets exciting stories and promises a lot of fun for all ages.
The hike starts at the Sillerenbühl cable car station and leads down to Bergläger. Along the way, ten exciting and interactive stations await, taking you into the captivating world of Vogellisi. Sometimes you have to climb an eagle's nest, sometimes you have to fly like a bird, sometimes you have to find a hidden shortcut. Those who venture into the forest of the mountain spirits will learn fascinating facts about the flora and fauna of the region.
The path is suitable for adventurers aged six and up and offers a mix of games, discoveries, and educational experiences. A barbecue area along the way is perfect for a picnic in the middle of nature. For a successful conclusion, a visit to the large Vogellisi play sculpture in the centre of Adelboden is recommended at the end of the hike.
This hike is ideal for families who want to combine outdoor fun with cultural stories. Please note that the path is not suitable for prams and sturdy hiking shoes are recommended. The experience ends in Bergläger, where you are centrally located to explore more of the Bernese Oberland.
