What you can expect

Tour the World War One battlefields of the Somme with battlefield historian and cartographer Bart Metselaar'

Bart is an official Somme battlefield guide (Somme tourist board/ Historial Péronne)

Bart will join you in your car at Beaucourt-sur-l'Ancre at 10.00am. to start the tour.

For on the tour, by request, a lavish packed lunch is available for €10 per person.

Sidesteps to other sites are possible, according to your wishes and within the constraints of time. A re-arrangement of the itinerary might be in order

If you have any family members who fought in the war, Bart can also help you trace their footsteps, subject to available information.
