You will cross the splendid Piazza Pretoria, famous for its Renaissance fountain and statues, and then reach the majestic Quattro Canti, the Baroque heart of the city and the crossroads of the main historical thoroughfares. Shortly after, you will be able to admire the Cathedral of Palermo, an extraordinary example of architectural stratification that tells the storey of centuries of different dominations and cultures.
The route continues towards the Palazzo dei Normanni and Piazza del Parlamento, where you can feel the history of the ancient Kingdom of Sicily and the encounter between Norman and Byzantine art.
