This is my go to hotel when I visit Blacksburg. The hotel is clean, up to date, and has a well lit parking lot with plenty of parking. The front desk and bar staff are always so nice.

Second time staying here and won’t be my last. The hotel is comfy and clean and super close to the VT campus. The star though is Milan at the front desk. The first time we took our overly smart border collie Sam with us. Sam can open doors and while we were at the game he decided let himself out and to wander the hotel. Milan found him (somewhere )and rescued some poor man he was barking at in the hall. She not only FOUND his room she fixed his bowl he had knocked over gave him water and TOOK him for a walk outside to go potty:). She also left a super cute note on the door that said to call Milan if “I’m noisy” and signed it “Sam the man.” Since we left quickly that next am I did not get the full story or a chance to thank her! This time when I mentioned Sam she told me the story. Honestly it doesn’t feel like a hotel at all Milan makes it feel like you are staying among family. She and this hotel are true gems!

Breakfast buffet was beyond expectations and the young man, I did not get his name but he is Asian, was INCREDIBLE and deserves a promotion! I have never seen someone work so much, so fast, and with so much dedication. There was another man the last day who was also terrific. Hotel is clean and fantastic. This will be our spot visiting VTech from now on. And only .2 miles from campus. Thank you

We had a great experience at the Hyatt Place Blacksburg. The room was very nice because it had a separate sitting area which was good for having visitors. The hotel is conveniently located and has lots of walkable options. The breakfast was very yummy and had lots of options, including french toast!! Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to be more concerned with style than functionality. There is not enough seating for breakfast, and there is couch seating, which looks nice but is annoying to actually eat at. The parking is easy and the location for VT is excellent.
