Clean and modern lodging

The mommot rooms are modern, updated and clean. The neighborhood in general was a bit loud for us, traffic noise and dogs barking. Once we were asleep, it was okay. The Mercado at the corner is well stocked. If you’re looking for a very cost effective spot to lay your head after a long day of fun, this is it.

It was a real pleasure to stay at MotMot rooms. The room was clean, safe, had a refrigerator and a washing machine and all the kitchen tools needed to make food in the room. They accommodated a special request for a little later checkout due to a scheduling issue with transportation. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Clean, affordable, and good air conditioning!

After staying at a river lodge with no WiFi or air conditioning, my family was so happy to check into this VRBO. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the showers were hot. The kitchen included all the needed items and the washing machine was most helpful. We also really appreciated the Smart TV so we could log into our favorite apps. The only hiccup we came across was finding the location, but the owner was easily accessible via the messanger function on VRBO. The location is perfect is you have a rental car as it’s a short drive (or a very long walk) to the city center of La Fortuna.

Simplicity near La Fortuna

The location is great. We had a car so the drive to the heart of La Fortuna was only about 2 min. Walking seemed to be a little far. They have all the necessities. It was a great place to crash after our long days of hiking. The walls can be a little thin so you may be able to hear the neighbors easily (and they can probably hear you) but overall it was a great stay.
