Negatives: Broken bathroom floor tiles, mold at bottom of inside of the blackout curtain on the siding glass door, tile repairs that didn't match, carpet was worn and dirty. No microwave in the room, water cooler in the fitness center was empty (desk clerk said they only have water delivered a couple times a month). Positives: bed, sheets and pillows very comfortable, staff was friendly and polite, room was quiet, breakfast was healthy.

The staff was awesome - especially Chris. He kindly upgraded us to a better room on his own initiative which, though he didn't know it, was so nice considering we were there for my grandmother's funeral service. having the extra space and privacy was great. The hotel itself is VERY clean but it is in need of some TLC. The room was so damp - even with the door and window closed, and the AC going, after a couple of days there was still a lot of moisture (carpet, sheets, air.) Expected at the beach to a degree but definitely more than usual. This is no reflection of the staff and service/overall experience, just something to note for corporate that it's the only thing that kept us from 5 stars across the board.

My husband & I both thought that the wonderful, sweet and lovely (what perfectly done make up!) Irma in the breakfast room was just the best hostess. She was so helpful to everyone there at breakfast and she just exudes goodness. You are so lucky to have her work there.

High Quality Stay

Even though the property is undergoing some Reno, it was perfect for us. The room was huge-quiet, clean and well-maintained. Ease of parking great. The breakfast is wonderful! Had a wonderful time overall. Our front office staff: Marie, Harrison and (a gal I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) were fantastic. And Angie is very nice and a joy to have working the breakfast room. 😀 The walkability to local places is a 10.

Better than expected

Breakfast was well stocked and very good. Angie’s service was outstanding. Bed very comfortable. Smoke detector went off at 5:30 AM due to heat from shower. Just a little sensitive. But it stopped after 4-5 min. Overall great experience
