Lovely house in a beautiful area

The arrival instructions initially gave us the wrong code for the keysafe.This was quickly resolved by messages with the host and we were able to access the premises after a very short wait outside.The interior was as described and in good order. Nice art work throughout.We had an issue with the shower draining away slowly and the cleaning team gave us some bicarbonate of soda - which partially did a job.On our final day the smoke alarm started sounding, which we managed to turn off by standing on some steps and pressing the ‘stop’ button.Overall we enjoyed our stay however, the house is in a beautiful location and is comfortable.We were lucky to have a couple of warm days and were able to use the hot tub which was very pleasant. Please note that it’s a wood furnace fired unit.One oddity, the bathroom door locks are located high on the doors. Luckily this wasn’t a problem, however could be for anyone shorter than average - especially kids.The issues described were minor however and did not impact our enjoyment of the break.

Beautiful barn had all we needed for a wonderful, relaxed stay. Only fault was the garden was quite grubby; the table and chairs hadn't been cleaned from the previous people, as there was still an ashtray full of cigarette ends on the table. I had to wipe down the chairs by the hot tub before we could sit down and enjoy our evening. Only a minor fault, but I feel like the outside should be as clean as the inside. Don't let this deter you from staying here; we had a great time and really enjoyed the hot tub.

Simply stunning

The Barn is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The location is lovely, situated on the edge of Eridge woods and overlooking beautiful countryside - we were spoiled for views in every direction. The Barn was so comfortable and beautifully decorated and we loved the original artworks adorning the walls. Beds were very comfortable. The Barn was unbelievably well equipped - lots of kitchen gadgets and plenty of pots, pans etc etc. Better than my own kitchen! The outside space was lovely to sit out in, with both shaded and sunny areas and the hot tub was fantastic. We really did not want to leave! Thank you Ros and David for making our stay so special.
