Had a 3 day stay. Excellent spot, so close to circular quay and city amenities. Room had an excellent view of the Opera house, except when cruise liners were in port, although they didn't stay long. Room was clean, although there was blue masking tape on the ceiling in the room entry, staff were very friendly and accommodating, bathroom was very dated, shower poor as water pressure was very poor.

Staff was wonderful but room was very dated and disappointing; nothing like the pictures on the website. Location was perfect. The "Harbour View" did not exist because large of large cruise ship. At night when the cruise ship departed we had a great view of the Opera House but the next morning there was another cruise ship.

Place is very tired.. apparently being closed for renovation but hardly worth the value. First room we had to leave as AC was so noisy, vents hanging from ceiling, furnishing dated. Lady was helpful and pleasant changing room.

The room was very dated. We stayed for our 10th wedding anniversary 30 years ago and tba it looked like very little maintenance had happened in that time. The cafe was closed and the spa was out of operation so all up it was a bit disappointing.

The full Balcony View of Sydney Opera House and Overseas Cruise terminal was just AWESOME!! Location in "The Rocks" area was SO convenient to us getting off a cruise (walkable in 5-7 min) AND for getting around Sydney. The Rocks is a great location for getting on a ferry or train/public transp by just walking to it!! The Rocks has all sorts of great restaurants, museums and historical buildings, it was PERFECT for us and our needs. The spacious rooms/suite was so nice to have for extended stay. Hotel employees were so helpful, maps, suggestions etc. Luggage storage before/after check in/out really was nice so we got to fully use all our time in Sydney!! So many great places for breakfast and dinner are just everywhere!! Very glad we picked Rendezvous hotel The Rocks Sydney. Very happy overall!
