THE STAFF WAS AMAZING!!! Super kind and helped with anything we needed. Manager was amazing, she was so kind and helped us with all the problems we had. Room service was so sweet and cleaned our room nicely everyday. This hotel is beautiful and in a great spot. Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you Surfbreak hotel!

Drawers were very dusty.. we hung up some clothes and left the rest in our luggage bag. Bed was very uncomfortable... sagged towards the middle. WIFI was horrible. Noise from freeway was too much. Havinh noone at the front desk most of the time was very impersonal and the nymber they give you to call... no one answers.

The front desk gal was very helpful with check in when we had an issue. Very thankful for her. The only down fall was the barn door for the bathroom. It didn't shut completely so if you're staying with someone other than immediate family, you have no privacy. The room was very cute and clean. Beds were comfy. The hotel is close to everything including the freeway for easy travel.

So where to start. First night no parking on property was available. Had to park on the street and walk to the room because someone had double parked. Was directed by the staff to park a mile away in public parking. I ended up parking on the street 2 blocks away. Rooms were clean with the exception of the carpets. They would stick to socks and feet and leave a black residue. We had to by slippers just for the room. Staff is friendly and the view is better than advertised even with the freeway. Last thing of note. The door was uneven on the hinges and left a giant gap where it sounded like the people outside were in our room. Very noisy place and people smoke on the non smoking floor. Most likely will not visit again.

Property hugs the freeway and is noisy to the extent that windows can't be open. Rooms were updated within the last few years but the fan in our bathroom didn't work and the room was extremely musty and humid. Towels didn't dry!! For the quality and location this should be less expensive.
