Place was FILTHY and very noisy, owner is loud, rude and disrespectful. Derelicts hang out there! In Kirkenes ALL RESIDENTS CALL IT THE SECOND WORSE HOTEL PRECEDED BY THE BARENTS HOTEL. If you want peace and quiet and CLEAN - Do NOT stay here.

This hotel is a disaster. It is dirty, loud, and the owner is rude and disrespectful. The "breakfast is pitiful and in a refrigerator (pre-packaged) that the smell was nauseating. Apparently the locals regard is as the SECOND worst Hotel in town and there are only 4! Derelicts hang out in the so called lobby and it doesn't feel safe. Pay a bit more and relax ELSEWHERE

Cheaper option in town centre.

Quite basic but much cheaper than other hotels in Kirkenes, so this was the reason for us booking this hotel. It is actually fine, close to the town centre and convenient for a nights stay before catching the ferry or going to the airport. We had an easy walk to the cruise ferry terminal. Free coffee is a nucellus bonus and our room was fine for our short stay.

This hotel was was a perfect budget one night stay while we waited on the coastal ferry to take us south. The room was as advertised and the staff were friendly and helpful. The dumb waiter to move luggage to higher floors rather than carrying up stairs was welcome after a long day of traveling.

Low cost hotel for the night.

I appreciate that they left our room key out for us. We were there to sleep while waiting to go on a cruise the following day. I would say that most of the people who also went on the cruise stayed at another hotel but for the price and distances to the shopping center it wasn't bad. I wish the restaurant had later hours but there was a pub about a block away.
