I think the self service check in is innovative, efficient and an attractive amenity to have; however when we arrived at hotel- staff did not even acknowledge us. No one said hello or asked if we needed help. Very cold, unwelcoming arrival which unfortunately did not leave the best impression.

Very accessible hotel

First time staying here and as always I get nervous about how accessible it will be but I needn't have worried. The hotel is fully accessible throughout, everywhere is flat and manoeuvrable, very easy for someone in a wheelchair. Automated check in and check out was simple and straightforward to do, but staff were on hand to help if needed. Would definitely stay again.

One night stay for show at Pavilion

All aspects of the stay were excellent. Check-in , staff service, cleanliness , comfort and overall facilities were all top notch Check-in was done online and by doing so the room was available earlier than designated check-in time , which was a great help 2nd time this particular hotel has been used and both visits were great Handy for bus station, shops , Pavilion Theatre and Royal Concert Hall

The Maldron is conveniently located near The National Piping Center (I was attending the Piping Live! Festival) and the bus station. Staff was excellent, courteous, informative, helpful. Breakfast pretty good (would have appreciated real scrambled eggs). Ill definitely stay again next year if it stays affordable. If prices skyrocket, I'll stay elsewhere.

Unfortunately there is a huge construction project taking place directly behind the hotel. We were woken at 730am by power tools, banging and shouting from the site. Obviously this is out of the hotels hands, but there was no mention of this at all on check in. This spoilt our visit. Left feeling exhausted!

The hotel was in a great area to explore the city. The reason I gave it lower marks is every single day there was a problem with her room and you could not get anyone to answer the phone at the desk. You had to walk down each and every time. on our last evening after five nights, I actually had to speak to the manager. The room was so bad.

Recommend this place!

It's great location and clean. Walkable to the city center but it's not busy center locaton. If I go Glasgow again, I would stay this place again.

Lovely 2 night stay, hotel in great location very handy for bus station. Room lovely and very comfortable bed. Did online check-in and check out which was very convenient. The 2 young lads working in the bar area were so friendly with all the guests and obviously enjoy their jobs and working there. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Use self check in

Check in was easy using self check in and key pick up, but reception had a lengthy queue so look at self check in as an option. Double bed was small but comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Had stayed at the Glasgow Maldron the previous week and there was more choice at breakfast and better presented. No parking discounts.

Did not get our room cleaned once and we were there for 3 nights. It still wasn’t cleaned by 3:30 and all we wanted was to go back and relax in our room. Had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. I don’t know if they were short staffed or just really slow. We also couldn’t turn the air conditioner any lower than 19 and it was very hot sleeping. Like a much cooler room. Was otherwise ok
