Shower head on the right side does not work. Warm water only available in shower. The body wash container was empty. At check out, the employee was eating behind the counter. I explained the issues and she said I will let maintenance know!!!!

Such a great property, great value for the beautiful rooms with such a roomy jacuzzi tub. I love my kids but I appreciate the “no children” policy to enjoy the ultimate relaxing getaway.

I booked our room for my anniversary, and to propose to my girlfriend. I was told we were getting the nicest sunset room, but when we entered room, we noticed that the room was sub par. The fireplace wouldnt work which is the rooms heater. The ceiling fan in the bathroom didnt work at all. The floors around the bed were filthy with dirt and dust and hair with the run of a finger. The worst was when we were showering after being on the beach and the smoke alarm went off very loudly and wouldnt shut off. I had to have maintenance cone to room and turn off. They couldnt get it to stop so he took the whole smoke alarm. We were left with no smoke alarm for the remainder of our stay. This is very frustrating cause i though i was booking a room with a 4 star hotel, but instead got a 2 star at best. I will never book with starfish manor ever again!

We’ve stayed at Starfish Manor several times before but this trip.. something was off. We were assigned a room, got settled in, then a few mins later there was a knock at the door. It was the front desk lady saying she gave us the wrong key card and we were actually in a different room a floor up. So we packed our things back up and moved to that room. When we walked in, I noticed a dirty wash cloth on the bed and upon further inspection also found a dirty sock under the vanity, the garbage can was full, and a wet used towel draped over the shower curtain rod… We let the front desk know, she was shocked and said she’d come remove the used items. But in hindsight.. we probably should have been comped a room or switched rooms again. Who knows what else wasn’t cleaned??
