It’s is run down . Needs decorating badly . Heating when on u can hear it’s - like a running tap . Won’t be staying there ever again.

Noisy throughout the night. Breakfast was poor. Evening bar doesn’t feel like a nice place to go, appeared to be a group of unfriendly locals

Cant complain for the price

Pros: Location was exactly where I needed
Cons: The bed
I was here for one night and only needed a single room. The room was warm, where I needed to be and had everything I needed. My only criticisms would be that the bed was rather hard and there was a buzzing all night from whatever was the other side of the wall. But at the price.....

Pros: Bar service very good
Cons: Food, Evening meal Chips were grossly overcooked Staff running around at 100 mph what for!!!----Breakfast small portion on the eggs Benedict not hot,
Food and room not up to Standard as in previous stays in other best western Hotels---Room very Tatty could do with re-Boot---Food the Chef needs to be sacked after serving as can what only be described as the worst chips i have ever tasted.

Quite basic but friendly staff

Only a stop off as travelling through. Basic hotel, I had a small single room with shower. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly, the hotel seemed to be close to the town centre.

One night in Newark

Not the best Best Western hotel I have stayed in, but reasonably good. Towels were not white any longer, and the pillows need replacing, but the room was clean and had everything you need. The breakfast was very good too for £4 each. We left the car there and had a walk around Newark for a couple of hours before leaving which was excellent.

Rip off

when we arrived we had paid for a standard room but were given room with king size bed, told if we wanted breakfast it would cost 4 pound if we booked it the night before or 8m pound on the morning we had not much interest in breakfast so first morning we did not go then I looked at my booking card and saw B and B mark on the my card ask in reception if that breakfast was included she yes off course it is. When we arrived I ask if it was possible to stay longer and they said yes but it would be cheaper to book with the agent when we decide to stay another three nights I checked if I booked standard room again I could stay in the same room(my husband had come down with a bug and he did not want to be moved Yes just book on line and you can join the reward thing and we will up grade you but when I came off line that they would sort the upgrade out, The reception girl said they would ring the agent and cancel my booking and give me a cheap price then ask me to sign a visa which included bar bills ect; this seemed o.k till I looked at my credit card statement which had to enterys one from you and one from the hotel it was on the night we where leaving I complaint bitterly they addmitted to a small over charge of 51 pounds and the manageress did phone next evening after speaking to the girl in reception and ask us if we would except the refund we ask for a list of payments to clear thing up she send three emails confuse us even more so we rang back and was told management was not avaiable and if i was do a refund we would get one but so far no refund. I will never say at a best weston Hotel again
