Not to waffle, basically this 5 star is pretty average. Breakfast could not be more basic if you’re expecting something impressive. The setting for the breakfast and main restaurant is faded grandeur. The new pavillion hotel is fresher but the Italian restaurant has the decoration of a Nuffield gym cafe. Food pretty average. The staff are nice but if you’re comparing this to a more modern golf resort like the Grove in Watford, there’s literally no competition in facilities and modernity.

Sehr schönes Hotel inmitten eines Golfplatzes, mit sehr aufmerksamen und netten Personal, schönen (historischen) Räumen und vielen Sport- und SPA-möglichkeiten. Einfach perfekt auch für Familien. Excellentes Essen.
