"Beautiful and unique rooms and facilities. Great history. Staff at reception desk very friendly and made us feel welcome every time. However, several staff members at breakfast did not greet when we or other guests arrived and replied goodbye only after we had addressed them first. There was just the leftovers of the birchermüsli left when we came, and there was no refillment even though there was plenty of time left (we came around 9 and breakfast ended at 10). This was a shame because the bits that we could get from the birchermüsli tasted utterly delicious. Apart from this not so great breakfast experience we loved our stay. This castle truly is a unique hotel and most staff members are very friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and uniquely decorated. We recommend this place to anybody who is interested in history and unique experiences. "
