Magnificent hotel only 2 min from the airport, don't worry we can't here any plane! Beautiful swimming pool, room and beach front. We really enjoyed our stay and I will come back! For staff: Very good service, it would have been nice to tell us where is the breakfast restaurant when we arrived and have signs in the resort to find the room number because we got lost more than once.

Cons: Navigation.aids ( especially during night ) through the very many tracks in the park, e.g. signs, better lighting, visible numbers at the blocks
very special design corresponding to the Hotels name "the slate". Unusual , but after habitation satisfying. System of different electrical switching not logical. Difficult navigation through the very many possibilities throughout the park / finding "home".

Très bon établissement, malheureusement vieillissant mal au fil des années. En résidant dans une suite, une petite attention quotidienne du genre fruits pourrait être offert au séjour de plus de 5 jours.

The Slate ist ein wunderbares Hotel Resort. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gut unterhalten. Der Staff ist jederzeit zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Es war alles wunderbar und ich werde garantiert wieder Zeit im The Slate verbringen.

Wunderschöne Anlage direkt an einem Traumstrand. Daneben sehr gute Restaurannts und Massage Geschäfte. Sehr nette Thais die man dort antrifft. Wir werden 100% wieder dahin gehen.

Wundschönes sehr gepflegtes Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Grosse Zimmer welche bestens ausgestattet und stets sauber sind. Essen im Tin Mine und dem Black Ginger zu empfehlen. Grosses, vielfältiges Frühstücksbueffet welches suuuper lecker war. Strand zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Hier gibt es auch viele Möglichkeiten für Massage, Souvenirshops, Lebensmittel/Getränkemarkt, Restaurants, Bars etc. Preise im Hotel sind verhältnismässig hoch. (1 Flasche Mineral 7,5dl kostet über 8.- chf) Alles in Allem aber ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt und wir konnen das The Slate nur weiterempfehlen.
