The apartment has a spacious living room with kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms and a well-kept bathroom. Upon arrival we found that the beds had not been changed or made up, the whole place had not been cleaned and there was a basket with towels to be laundered left on the floor. This was very disappointing and annoying as we arrived at about 9.30pm simply wanting to heat our food, eat it and go to bed. So, we called VRBO and they try to contact the owner. The owner did respond and organised the cleaners to come the next day which they did. The toilet seat was broken but we managed to fix it temporarily, the hairdryer didn’t work properly and would overheat very quickly. We were there for 3 weeks, enjoyed the terrace, weather was mixed, parking is good and free, not far from shops and restaurants all walkable, motorway close at hand, plenty of large supermarkets that are a short drive away. The flat to be honest needs a bit of TLC. However, the terrace on the roof tends to compensate for that. WiFi is good and we were able to connect our Now Box to the tv and get Netflix etc and mirror with my iPhone too. This was important during the Atlantic storm and the dust cloud from the Saharan desert. The owner Patrick kindly let us stay over the normal departure time as our flight was late. All in all despite our poor start we had a pleasant peaceful time and enjoyed our holiday.

I really enjoyed my stay in the apartment. Everything was there that i needed, the terrace was a blessing on sunny mornings and late into the afternoon. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting somewhere quiet to relax and enjoy the walks and surroundings of Callao Salvaje. The bus stop directly outside the apartment is also a plus point and very easy to navigate the island. Thank you Patrick :)

The property is in a quiet area with restaurants and shops a 10 minute walk away and good access to the main road system. We loved the terrace where we spent a lot of time.

In the main amenities were good. Stayed for a month and struggled with the sofa and chairs. Beds all good and comfortable. Being on the main bus route was a plus for us. We explored all along the coast for next to nothing. Easy to get from the airport to here by bus so no need for expensive taxis.

Excellent Rooftop Apartment

We stayed here as a family of four with two children and had an absolutely fantastic time. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and the standout feature for us was the amazing roof terrace—perfect for relaxing in the evenings and soaking up the outstanding views across Tenerife. It was the ideal spot for a morning coffee or evening drink.The location was also excellent—just a short walk to local shops, restaurants, and amenities, yet still mainly peaceful and quiet (some noise at night time from the traffic from the road outside). It felt like the perfect balance of convenience and calm.We would definitely recommend this apartment to other families looking for a comfortable base with a touch of something different.The only downside was the lack of communication from the owner. Which resulted in a few frantic calls to VRBO to make contact the day before we arrived. Not great when you are due to leave for holidays with a family in tow.

This property is superb. The furniture and fixings are a little worn/ dated but there is plenty of equipment, cutlery crockery etc The roof terrace is definately its biggest asset. Its huge, well furnished, not overlooked and has great views over the coast and sea. Patrick the owner was happy to allow late check in and check out. There is a key safe on the door. I believe Patrick lives in Belguim but has maintenance and cleaners to look after the property. We got a little twitchy about check in details as they were only sent on the day we travelled but all was good. There are a total of 2 balconies and 1 roof terrace. The property is over 2 fllors. The first level is the two bedrooms bathroom and open plan kitchen and lounge.one bedroom has its own balcony. Theres another balcony with table for 4 at the base of the stairs leading to an upstairs kitchenette and the roof terrace. We used the provided electric hotplate/grill and cooked on the roof terrace most nights which was a lovely space to spend the evening with the family. Only negatives are that the second bedroom is very tight. Theres a single bed and a bunk bed which has seen better days. My 17yr old son didnt feel like using it so he used a pull out under the single bed. Personally i think 2 seperate singles and less wardrobe storage would be a better solution. The only other thing is that theres no aircon. Small fans are provided but we ended up leaving doors and balcony doors open to keep it cool enough to sleep com

We came by bus from airport absolutely no problem. The property is 10 minutes downhill to the village and 15minutes uphill back which suited us to a tee. We are both pensioners and need to walk every day. All in all a great stay which could only have been improved by contact of any sort with Patrick

Spacious apartment with large roof terrace

Spacious, comfortable and airy apartment. Best feature the large rooftop terrace with very comfortable sun loungers. Nearest supermarket is in the village centre 750 metres away and it’s uphill on the way back, so anyone with mobility issues would definitely need a car. Just two (very brief) visits to the pool as it is not heated. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Positive stay

We found the apartment to be a very good value property. Good communication prior to the arrival and very easy to access. Excellent instructions for arriving at the property. The actual property was very similar to the pictures and was as expected. You will probably need a car to access other parts of the island but Calleo Salvaje had more to it then we expected - although still quite quiet. Playa paraiso is a half hour walk which had a few bits too. Shower v. Good, bed comfy and absolutely brilliant roof terrace. There was a storm just as we arrived so it was a little dusty and stuff had come off the roof but not owners issue. Only minor niggles were that the pillows were only satisfactory (a bit lumpy) and I don't think there is air con, although this was fine for us in December. Great tv channels - all UK and international - and wifi was excellent. Also an upstairs kitchen and stereo system which was perfect for the terrace and watching the sunset over the sea. Came equipped with good utensils etc. Overall, we were very happy with the property and our experience with owners.

holiday apartment

Great apartment for a family. double & twin bunks, great view over the pool and out to sea. 10 min walk to the beach bars & restaurants and supermarket. You will need a car to get around which is fine and parking outside. English TV channels and a brilliant roof terrace and kitchen upstairs. All you need in the apartment for a great holiday well stocked kitchen cupboards. We were so disappointed as only spent 2 nights here due to the corona virus having to return to UK early re fights but will definitely return as have found a gem here.

This Exclusive Apartment comes with great mountain and ocean views

We found the apartment very easy to reach from South Tenerife Airport with about 20 minutes via Adeje. We had the luxury of shopping at Lidl and other local supermarkets in Callao Salvage village. I would 200% recommend this apartment to friends and family because there is a swimming pool and only 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach. It was our first time in Tenerife but I think up north is way too busy and would recommend this one if you want a quiet break. The taxi company lady does not speak English quite well so try and translate for them using Google. Thank you Katia for being flexible with our checkout because we had an evening flight. The area is packed with a lot of activities from Go Karting, Dolphin Cruise, Aqualand, Hiking and a local Sports Centres. The weather in summer was really good and the pool had great size and temperature. I cannot wait to go back to the friendly atmosphere.

Great 2 bedroom apartment with wonderful rooftop terrace & view of the sea.

Stayed here the 2 weeks before Easter 2019. Apartment is clean & well maintained. The complex it's on didn't seem too busy and was a nice mix of locals & short stay renters like ourselves. There was always plenty of space around the lovely pool area. Walking downhill into the town took 7-8 minutes, where there are quite a few restaurants and was, again, fairly quiet. I think a car is essential to stay here (which we had), although a bus stops just next to the apartment complex but we never used it. The owner responds very quickly to questions & was a pleasure to deal with. Many thanks!

We had a lovely week here beginning of March. Apartment very clean and well laid out. Had everything we needed. Weather great so spent most of our time on the roof terrace. Handy to town and we found some nice restaurants. We will be booking this lovely apartment again.

Wonderful apartment with fabulous roof terrace

Wonderful apartment on a quiet and well maintained complex with swimming pool. We had lovely weather in February and sat at pool but too cold for us to swim, although there were a few that did. We loved the roof terrace with great views of the sea. 10-15 mins walk down to the town with plenty of choice of restaurants. Steep walk back up to the apartment but taxis are available if needed. Would stay again.

Good apartment with great outdoor space.

The apartment is well-equipped and has lots of outdoor space; two balconies and a sun terrace. There’s is one double room and a room that could potentially dleep three in single beds. We were on holiday in February, the weather was good, but not warm enough to use the pool. The pool area was large and clean, but we opted to sun bathe on the sun terrace. There was ample parking and the apartment is in a good location for travelling around by car. You can reach the resort centre in 10 minutes on foot.

the apartment is ideally situated for both north & south Tenerife, overlooking the sea with fantastic views from the roof terrace. The apartment has everything needed for a wonderful holiday. we were lucky and had fantastic weather everyday although it was quite windy on a couple of the days. There is a great communal pool that wasn't busy most of the time ideal for a cooling swim. This is a wonderful apartment in a quiet, relaxing part of Tenerife and we will be back in the future.

Just back having stayed here for a week. Property is beautiful, clean, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Lots of outside space to sit - small balcony outside main bedroom, small seating area outside main living area and of course the roof top terrace. We spent most of our time up on roof terrace chilling out in the sunshine - a fantastic space with great views. Large area at communal pools with sunbeds and a sand pit beside the kids pool. Apartment complex was quiet and well looked after. TF-82 road right behind property but noise never bothered us. You can walk down to the village from the apartment (10 minutes downhill, 15 minutes back up). Lots of places to eat, 3 small supermarkets, gift shops, pharmacy, pubs and the beach. Great location for touring around the Island.

Tres agreable logement avec beau toit terrasse ideal pour bronzer et repas vue sur locean et jolie piscine. Pratique d'accès, avec facilité de stationnement proche de nombreux points touristiques.Je recommande Pour info: il y a 2 lits 2 personnes et non 3 lits dans la 2eme chambre comme précisé dans l'annonce. Petit bémol : propre en surface : un gros coup de nettoyage serait nécessaire mais je sûrement trop exigeante.Aucune communication avec le loueur excepté pour la procedure d'arrivée. Messages laissés sans réponse.
