Welcoming appearance. Polite staff. Room not ready when we checked in. Shower looked like it had not been cleaned. Problem with room key, easily solved. Room was big and a suite, which we enjoyed. Needed more pillows.

Outdated hotel

Room had stained carpet, toilet needed to be replaced and shower had mold. Carpeting throughout hotel needed to be vacuumed. Fire alarm went over at 7:30 am and again at 8:30 am for no specific reason.

Pros: It is really close to a lot of restaurants. It is close to stores. It is only 5 miles from Brandywine. It was very clean. Water pressure in shower was great! For $70 a night, it isn't bad. Cons: the food wasn't great, it was like they over cooked it in a microwave. The electric sockets are so loose they don't hold a plug. Elevator sounds like it's going to fall at any min. There seemed to be little to no staff there.

Overall cleanliness was not good. Fixtures were functional, but toilet had some movement but not leaking. Mattress was worn and not comfortable. Lobby and breakfast areas needed a good cleaning.

The hotel needs to be updated

The staff was very kind and welcoming . The hotel needs work . The carpet, sofa and chair in the room we were in were badly stained. The tub had a permanent ring in it also. Since we got there in the evening and left first thing in the morning I didn’t make a fuss about it. Thank God the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and fresh .

Very dated. I didn’t feel like it was cleaned well. The molding around the window was about to fall down, being so rotted out. The wall next to the toilet was complete nasty. Showers needed its own scrubbing. Bathroom tiles cracked and moving. Can’t even talk about the carpet situation. While walking in main 2nd floor hallway, you can feel cracks and holes beneath your feet. Not sure what might happen if it continues to get larger. Family owned property.
