A motel 6 is on the same property as the hotel; check in was rushed and unfriendly; difficult to get into the room as the door handle mechanism wasn't working properly, same with door on the side of building were the room was close to. This entry/exit was used to access my parked car and I got stuck out there late at night when getting something from my car; family member came out to find me and let me back in. The room had a low level s sweet mustly odor and the beds were uncomfortable. I only stayed on night and found another hotel for the remainder of my time in Ohio.

Not as good as expected

Usually HI Expresses are clean, and updated, but this place was not. Was dirty, room had a musty smell, AC did not work, and walls were paper thin. Breakfast was good, location was convenient to Cuyahoga National Parks for hiking, and staff was friendly. Wouldn't stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the general condition of the hotel was quite good. The breakfast buffet was well done. A couple of things that could be improved on - the condition of the elevator (the floor mat and floor and walls) were very dirty - also, there was a lot of trash in the parking lot and lawn (most of it from the truck stop next door) that needed to be picked up.
