This place is wonderful if you like a low key place on the beach! I would prefer a more comfortable bed, but I love the location, the staff, the restaurant nearby and Akumal in general. There are plenty of all inclusive places with lots of activities, but if you want to relax and enjoy a low key setting, this place is wonderful!

All rooms face the bay and have beautiful views. We rented a single room with double bed. The room is small, but quaint. and quiet. No extra amenities like beach towels, bottled water, etc. so pretty basic, but all that we needed. A nice little breakfast restaurant and small grocery store within walking distance. WIFI was free and adequate. Close to snorkeling (with turtles!) in Akumal bay and to Yal-Ku lagoon (lots of beautiful fish). Overall, an excellent place to stay in Akumal at affordable rates. We would definitely return again.

Absolutely perfect option for a romantic getaway. Ocean view even from the bathroom. Really enjoyed the bathtub! Make sure to look at the sky at night. Would definitely come back. Only issue was we never received the email with the instructions to get in, we got there a bit late but thankfully the people at the restaurant told us which was our room and how to get in.
