The actual apartment itself was great - updated, had a few dishes for cooking, clean, plenty of space for luggage! The entrance was easy to find, but was a little wonky! overall, great experience! Super close to everything walking or driving which was amazing.

A hidden gem. The apartment is centrally located in Akeyuri, walking distance to grocery, has free parking and easy access to main roads. Appreciated having kitchen and access to laundry. Lots of room for family of 4. Need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner.

Very convenient apartment close to town centre. Clean and comfortable rooms. Parking directly outside. Laundry facilities in the basement. Building looks a little shabby from the outside but the apartment itself was modern and spacious.

It was very comfortable and well equipped for 7 of us. It was a 5-10 minute walk into the town centre and a big shopping centre the other way. Lots of parking on the road and it was quiet.

worst experience in life, there was no information on how to get access the keybox, there was no sign for apartment sign, I had to call the owner, when I get there it looked like a gost town apartment(there were fallen leaves a lot in front of unit), when I get into the room it was so cold and I tried to temperature botton I could not find, I just found a broken portable heater, I called again and again the owner with international telephone, after two hours later some one brought the another portable heater, kitchen was equipped, but electric stove did not work at all, just nightmare

The inside was good, old but working. Bathroom was upgraded and good. Beds were decent. Kitchen was upgraded and good. Floors and systems were old. However the way to get in was very bad. Overgrown with weeds, chipped stairs and overall poor exterior. And the instructions given were wrong with poor description of how to open and get in. Wasted 1.5 hrs trying to find and get in

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation at all. During our winter holiday in Iceland, we had to stay for two days in an unheated apartment – which is completely unacceptable given the temperatures there. We were aware in advance that the apartment is located in a basement and is relatively small, and for the price we did not have high expectations. However, a functioning heating system in Iceland in March must be considered an absolute basic standard. We contacted the host twice by phone and were reassured both times that the issue was being addressed and that we would receive an update. However, we never heard back, and the problem was not resolved during our stay. What is particularly disappointing is how the situation was handled afterward: even after involving Expedia, any form of compensation was refused by the host. We consider this to be neither customer-oriented nor responsible. Overall, we had the impression that complaints are not taken seriously and that guests are left alone with their problems. Under these circumstances, we would not book this accommodation again.

Herbergið sjálft var þokkalegt, en aðkoman í kjallarann frekar ömurleg. Hitaofninn bjargaði okkur, því það varð ískalt í herberginu. Það vantaði teskeiðar og almennileg glös. Okkur fannst leirtauið ekki upp á marga fiska og það virkaði óhreint. Við gistum bara eina nótt, því við vorum ekki sátt við að hafa valið þennan gististað.
