Excellent stay :)

Excellent location, great facilities - was lovely to have a fridge in the room. The staff were all fantastic and we really appreciated the reception staff giving us plates/cutlery/condiments for food in our room. Huge thanks to Anna on reception for contacting me and keeping my medication safe when I left it behind. Overall a really pleasant and enjoyable stay. Will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

Adjacent rooms very noisy. Superior room was not great. The hotel almost feels too big for the bar and food areas, people wandering the corridors shouting down their phones, very strange place. No air con or heating, two tiny radiators left in the room instead.

Short work trip

Bustling restaurant for the morning and evening. Food was good, but dinner price might be a bit high (but thats mainly due to the country's rising cost and inflation). Room was great, modern, comfortable, clean. Questionable shower design that might lead to small puddles outside due to the cubicle is risen and the inner drainage is shallow, plus not much of a screen to contain water bouncing off the inner cubicle to the outer floor. Water pressure could be better. Rooms with connecting doors should be removed (sealed) or not given to guests who dont know their neighbors. Could literaly hear them showing affection to each other and other times their TV. Other than that, plenty of car parking space, large compound and you dont hear the motorway either as its just far enough.

Having stayed here previously and had a great experience I was unhappy that due to cutbacks the pool and spa facilities had since closed. The dinner menu very basic and not what it used to be. The staff were still great and helpful and the hotel was still clean.
