Vivenda Liberdade is a modern house that was built in 2010. Its location at the end of the settlement provides the tranquility that you expect during the holidays. It has 1 double bedroom and 2 bedrooms with 2 beds. A large kitchen with complete equipment (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, etc.) invites you to cook. The beautifully landscaped pool area is enough space for sunbathing, barbecues and games. On the terrace you can take your breakfast with a view of the small lake (sometimes with some sea view on some days). The underfloor heating and the beautiful fireplace also allow you a comfortable stay out of season. The famous beaches of Monte Clérigo, Arrifana and Amoreira can be reached on foot through the beautiful nature reserve or by car in less than 5 minutes. While the lovers of the Atlantic and the rugged coastline with small hidden beaches on the beaches of Monte Clérigo and Arrifana (surfing!) If you are looking for a paradise, the beach of Amoreira is ideal for toddlers because of its dunes and its beautiful lagoon. An infinite number of sports and leisure options complete the diverse range. It is possible to rent bicycles from the house. There is also a new ping-pong table with rackets and a Pentaque court at your disposal. In the small town of Aljezur, about 5 km away, you will find all the food you need in a large supermarket. A small supermarket is just a 5-minute walk away. Restaurants can be found both in the immediate vicinity and in the wider area. Lovers of fish get their money's worth here!

Disappointing

a little disappointing: considering the cost of the accommodation. the door lock number had not been changed to our nominated number. Light bulbs missing in bed side light The dining area lights not working The hot water failed and we were advised to change the gas cylinder over. The bathroom drain blocked and I was asked to clear out the drain and remove the sand/hair and dirt! It then made quite loud gurgling noises the bikes in the garage had flat tyres, the garden seat was broken, the sun parasol broken There was one small wine glass, 3 'large gin ' glasses, only 5 mugs- poorly equipped the hand soaps in the bathrooms were left empty! The book with useful info had very out of date literature sadly disappointing. On a positive note: stunning coastline. The local contact, Sylvester communicated well

house was spacious. Area was great for hiker`s, surfer`s and was very hilly with some beautiful beaches and scenery, really good restaurants some on or close to the beaches. Only negative was that the pool wasn`t heated but we used the beach when weather permitted.

Home away from home

Thank you Andreas for a wonderful week stay at your house. We were a family of 6 and having a full house with 3 bedrooms and lots of kitchen space worked really well. So did being able to sit around the pool in the warm sun and in the evening with a glass of port. The kids enjoyed the games. The area and beaches were spectacular!

Relaxing, quiet, home from home

Superb place to stay if you enjoy having great facilities, being away from the main tourist areas and like to have access to nature and beaches (with great surfing for anyone who likes that sort of thing). The house has plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. We weren't brave enough to try the pool in the cooler winter, though it did look inviting. The whole place was spotlessly clean. A car, or at least some form of transport, is essential, as there are no facilities very nearby - a 5 minute drive to the new supermarket or restaurant, but it is possible to walk from the house out into the countryside. The location is very quiet, with plenty of bird life, including owls on neighbouring roofs every day during our stay. This house is as described, and great communication from the owner. Thoroughly recommended.

The villa was wonderful with lovely seating areas and beautiful beaches nearby

Unfortunately the caretaker forgot to put the underfloor heating on and didn't open all the shutters so it was freezing and took 18 hours to get above 12 degrees. After that we had a fabulous holiday and loved the villa and location.

This house has a good solar orientation making it a plus for using the pool area and barbecue. The beds were very comfy but the sofa where the 2 plus guests stayed is not in a good shape making it very uncomfortable to sleep in. When we arrived the house was very dirty, we had to clean it twice to make it more usable as it had dog hair all over the house. The big bathroom had a bit mole and the vaccum cleaner was not stored on the most proper place. The kitchen is very well equipped but lack some maintenance, Although we liked very much our stay and the instant support from the onwer in all our needs was great, the lack of cleaning and the referred items makes us re-think to return to this property.

Insgesamt waren wir von dem Haus etwas enttäuscht und hatten uns doch angesichts der Fotos und des Preises mehr erwartet. Wir hatten leider einige Mängel vorgefunden. Dies betraf insbesondere die Feuchtigkeit im Haus, die dazu führte, dass an vielen Stellen im Haus sich der Putz von den Wänden löst und abblättert und diverse Lampenschirme angeschimmelt waren. Ebenfalls war die Poolpumpe kaputt und führte dazu, dass viele Insekten auf der Oberfläche des Pools schwammen. Die Poolpumpe wurde dann im Laufe der zweiten Ferienwoche repariert (etwas spät). Ein Außensofa war leider verrostet und voller Vogelkot, so dass wir diese nicht benutzen konnten und wollten. Wir fanden zudem, dass es am Anfang, als wir das Haus bezogen, es nicht sehr gut geputzt und sauber war. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es leider nicht (das haben wir aber vorher gewusst), wäre aber bei Außentemperaturen von über 30 Grad schon schön gewesen, da es in den Innenräumen sehr warm war. Lüften liess sich Abends vor dem Hintergrund des Sees in der Nähe und der damit verbundenen hohen Mückenanzahl leider nicht.Positiv fanden wir die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und dem Hausverwalter vor Ort. Zumindest hatte man sich bemüht, diverse Mängel (kaputte Steckdosen, Sauberkeit, Poolpumpe kaputt etc.) nach und nach zu beheben. Eigentlich erwarte ich jedoch, dass dies bei dem Preis schon vornherein so ist und man nicht auf alles mögliche hinweisen muss. Das eigentlich schöne Haus müsste einfach mehr gepflegt werden.

Casa muito agradável com todas as comodidades necessárias para uma boa estadia, camas confortáveis, churrasqueira para fazer bons grelhados e piscina excelente com muita privacidade. A localização é propicia ao descanso, bairro sossegado sem trânsito. Tendo adolescentes, diria que os pontos negativos foram a falha da internet e da TV por cabo, problema este alheio ao anfitrião assim como a localização, muito afastado do centro urbano (obriga a deslocação de carro). Recomendo vivamente.

Óptima estadia

A casa está muito bem equipada, o jardim muito bem cuidado. A vista ao pôr do sol é linda. A piscina tem sol ate as 16h. Demos um mergulho de manhã e fizemos praia pela tarde. Todas as praias são a distância de carro entre 10-20min. Mas a paz do local compensa. Para quem gosta de correr, há trilhos e logo de manhã fizemos por /x 10km, que soube lindamente.

Wir waren voll und ganz zufrieden

In 2022, bei unserem Besuch in Aljezur, mussten wir uns schon um eine neue Unterkunft für 2023 kümmern da unsere bisherigen Vermieter Ihr Objekt verkauft haben und dieses nun nicht mehr zur Verfügung steht. Nun haben wir uns einige Objekte im Internet und auch vor Ort persönlich angeschaut. Und das "Vivenda Liberdade" hat uns sofort zugesagt. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort erschien uns sofort sehr professionell. Nun waren wir jetzt gerade im September vor Ort. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Pool wurde über den Winter noch mal neu gefliest und schaut nun noch besser aus als im letzten Jahr und auch den Bildern. Wir waren jedenfalls rundum sehr zufrieden und waren mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten Mal Gast im "Vivenda Liberdade".
