Not what you would expect from a Marriott

Swimming pool and spa were good, lack of hot water in the ladies changing room showers. Rooms are advertised as air conditioned but this seems to mean a tower fan that made little difference to heat. Furniture in room was chipped and scratched and drawers not clean. Fridge was a bonus. Breakfast area had chipped furniture and in need of a deep clean especially the tables, even salt and pepper wooden shakers were sticky. Cooked breakfast was poor, scrambled eggs drowning in liquid, with poached the only thing that looked edible. I opted for the poached egg and items from the continental table which was fine but had been looking forward to a full breakfast. Disappointed.

A few signs to reception from the bedroom would be great. The stay was overall good. The breakfast ( room service) let it down as asked for prunes and got dried cranberries which was disappointing!! Also the full breakfast was not very warm.

Adequate hotel stay. I booked the hotel room for 2 people yet there was only 1 bottle of water and only 1 breakfast teabag. This may sound trivial to you but this room was not cheap £161.00 per night and there wasn’t enough water and teabags for the both of us! When we booked out at 4AM and mentioned this to the lady on reception her response was, in a very cocky attitude… you just have to ring through and we will provide more! Really!! You think this is a good enough response because I definately do not. Absolutely not good enough!

Lovely hotel and had a great time. BUT. Selected the free parking option via Expedia and checked out of the hotel to advise nothing due for payment only to receive in the post today a parking fine for £100 pounds. Can see now why the hotel was reasonably priced they make there profit on the parking.

Room are nice just a little dated and the bathrooms the same. Some room can be far away from the stairs and elevators. Found the restaurant didn’t have much to choose from all so. Great location tho from the motorway and airport. Parking seamed very limited tho and abit far from reception.
