Samarra ', "happy who sees it" is located in Sopramare di Amalfi, 250 steps from the road, on the Via del Cieco that cutting the hill, leads directly down to the city with a fresh and intriguing path from a landscape and botanical point of view .
Halfway between sky and sea, Samarra is a typical Saracen house from the 1500s, with local stone walls with vaults and domes.
‘It is surrounded by terraced gardens obtained from the mastery of the ancient amalfitans who offer breathtaking views to the eye of the guest and the possibility of enjoying the full sun and the coolness of the shade of lemon and olive trees.
Delightful grapes, pears, plums and figs delight the palate of the guests of August while myrtle and rosemary fragrances spread in the air, in all seasons.
Samarra 'is also a Buen retiro, a place of meditation and introspection (which is why it has no internet) but also a base for interesting excursions on the Lattari mountains.
Suitable for many but not all!
