We loved the convenience of being so close to the train station and other restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They accommodated us as soon as we got there by allowing us to use changing room and keeping our luggage until check in.

The hotel is right across the street from central train station, couldn’t be more convenient than that. The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful too. The only downside is that the hotel is much older than pictures showed on Expedia website. I would give 3 stars in terms of the value of the hotel rates.

Artsy hotel directly across from Centraal Station but still quiet and extremely comfortable. Had the most comfortable bed and the best AC system in all of Europe. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests. The hotel itself is a work of art. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, with artistic touches that give it a unique and creative vibe. It’s not just a place to sleep — it’s an experience in itself. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Close to everything I needed, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. Great location - right across from the central train station and just a few minutes walk from the old city and main attractions. ARCA restaurant was closed when we were there, however we tried the limited menu at the bar and the food was delicious. We were very happy with our stay. Hotel was expensive but worth it.

I can’t express enough how friendly, courteous and professional the staff performed. The hotel is in a fantastic location across from the Central Station. You are able to walk to most anything you would like or bicycle. The room we had was spacious and comfortable looking out over the canal and at the Central Station. We would absolutely stay at Art’otel when visiting Amsterdam.
