A beautiful hotel, very clean, well maintained. The staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, but rather expensive, Out of three mornings we chose to have breakfast only on our last day. 12-minute walk to Amstel station, where the Metro takes you into the city within 15 minutes.

Pros: excellent accommodation very comfortable beds and nice Linens. Clean and well kept. 10min walk to amstel station. 5-10 to some restaurants. Fantastic breakfast-worth buying. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Nice art and gallery. Cons: be very aware of water quickly turning scalding hot in shower. Monitor children. I suffered a burn as a result. Told staff but wasnt too concerned. Said it happens when someone else turns on water. They need signage or to tell guests but no-one did warn us. Very dangerous! Overall very nice hotel otherwise.
