I would like to express my appreciation for the staff at the hotel, who I understand were doing their best under the circumstances. I also truly appreciated the upgraded room I received upon check-in, as it was a kind gesture and did not go unnoticed. That said, I do need to share my concern regarding the handling of my reservation, which I had paid for in full, including the night prior to my arrival. Due to a hurricane, my flight was unfortunately canceled, and I took immediate steps to inform the hotel by both emailing through the Expedia app and calling directly. Despite these efforts, I received no response, and upon arrival, I was told I had been marked as a no-show. When I arrived the next day, I was asked to wait 45 minutes for a room to be ready. However, I was eventually checked in only at the standard time of 15:00, which meant that the majority of my first full day in Amsterdam was lost—particularly frustrating given the short length of my stay. While I am grateful for the upgraded room, it did not fully address the impact of losing a significant portion of my trip. Given that the room was paid for in advance and I made reasonable attempts to communicate the situation, I kindly request a refund or compensation for the first night.

The staff was amazingly helpful at all times and complimentary beverages in the lobby were nice. Also excellent availability of ice. Across the street from a lovely canal cruise company that is part of I Amsterdam and around the corner from the hop on hop off bus. Walkable to many restaurants and the Rijk. The in house restaurant is very good but very expensive.

The property was confusing as there were separate buildings and I was initially told I had to check in at another building entirely … but the front desk person was very nice and accommodating and he helped me get settled. So it started poorly but ended up pretty good. The rooms are nice, clean, quiet. If I had to complain about anything …. Too many light switches!

We were allocated a room in the adjacent "Apartments" building which was huge and included a sofa, dining table, and small but very functional kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the setting felt luxurious. The shuttle to and from the airport was easy and ran precisely as scheduled. Much better value for us than a hotel where one could walk to the terminal but those with large amounts of baggage might prefer to be closer. We would stay again.

Strange property. Still under construction. Apartment was nice but had booked triple and it actually included a pull out sofa which was not clear until we arrived. Maybe some shady stuff happening in the lobby? Not sure, but would not stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. The hotel’s easy accessible by public transport and the airport shuttle made things even easier. When there was an issue with our reservation, the team not only resolved the issue but upgraded us. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality turned what could have been a stressful moment into a very positive experience. The proximity to the airport is good, hotel neat with spacious rooms,downside was the ceiling, something must be done. Level 9 restaurant view was ok,manager with lense glass was selective and not welcoming. Hotel restaurant was good with 5star breakfast.
