As soon as I arrived this property looked sketchy. The front desk guy made me wait while he took a personal phone call, then when he finally gave me my key I went up to the room , which supposedly was a no smoking room, reeked from smoke. Then when I turned on the ac it smelled even worse. There was NO toilet paper in the bathroom and the towels were dirty. Definitely not what they advertise. I know the price was probably what I paid for but definitely not expecting to smell like that.

The staff here are great and the location is very convenient if you’re visiting Knott’s Berry Farm. I felt safe and the area was decent. That said, the hotel is definitely dated and "well-loved." Our room had some functional issues—the AC was weak, the bathroom door was in rough shape, and the beds were doubles rather than the Queens we expected. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot and aren't too picky about the room condition, it does the job
