The property was like a very upmarket backpackers with high quality rooms, beds and bathrooms but no facilities in the room like fridges, tea, coffee. You really needed to go to the reception for most things. It was fine but not really comfortable to relax. Good if you plan on being out if the room at all times

Great place to stay in beautiful Annecy

Very friendly staff and close to several amenities and the old city. The breakfast was very good. Just maybe include a kettle in the room for people who enjoy several cups of tea at night.

Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was reasonably priced and was tasty, and the hotel was easy enough to find. Parking was quite difficult to find, but there is a paid parking garage not too far away. Plenty of food options nearby and easily walkable to old town and the lake.

3 nights in Annecy - nice modern hotel and well located for train station and centre - would have rated higher but 1) breakfast lacked fresh fruit options and 2) wi fi is a nightmare - if you cannot get it working then tells you to ring USA = overall a good place to stay

The rooms had an odd musty smell, there was no air conditioning and towels had black hair all over them. The price was high and it felt like quality was not as high as I expected for Moxy (I have stayed at other much nicer Moxys)

Great place to stay. 15 min walk to the old part of town. Air Condition didn’t work well so my nights weren’t relaxing at all. Not easy sleeping with no AC in 38 degree Celsius.

Great hotel, horrible beds

The hotel was nice, clean, and in a decent location! Just a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Town and Le Lac (the lake). The staff was always friendly and helpful. My only complaint were the beds and pillows. My partner and I both did not sleep well the entire stay due to how uncomfortable the bed was. We both experienced back and hip pain during our stay. The lack of sleep hindered our trip as we did not get up as early as we liked due to being tired. We don’t mind a firm bed, but this was another level. I have stayed at many Marriotts and have never experienced this level of discomfort. I recommend this hotel if you are young and/or can sleep anywhere. Otherwise, I would find a place with comfier beds.
