First time writing a review on hotel.com. The hotel was beyond my expectation. In my opinion if you travel in Annecy without a car, this is the best place to stay. 30min walk/10mins cycling from the center and tourists, but easy access to a few beautiful restaurants and to other parts of the lake. Everything was therapeutic

Generally good but beware expensive breakfast

The hotel is very nice in a great location with excellent facilities. However one night they had a large corporate group which meant the hotel restaurant was not available for residents which was disappointing. The spa facilities are great as is the ability to book bikes from the hotel for a cycle around the lake. The hotel parking is expensive but there is a free car park right beside the hotel. The biggest shock is the cost for breakfast, €52 for 2 people which is a complete ripoff.

Nice little getaway

The main restaurant in the hotel, food was excellent ( when it eventually came) the service was poor for the standard of the hotel and the cost of the food. Ordered drinks didn’t arrive starter course took 40 minutes not offered an apology or even a courtesy drink ( poor). Ordered a soufflé for desert and came frozen !! . Generally though the spa was excellent as was the room, however it would have been nice to have a complementary bottle of water in the fridge.

Staying at this hotel was a delight. Very spacious, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to make our visit a pleasure. We decided to walk into Annecy as it felt safe and the views of the lake are spectacular.

No information on where to go or recommendations of what to do or map provided on arrival at 10pm . Use an uber app as the taxi from station to the hotel charged us double. Used tourist information the following morning. Breakfast very expensive. Room to side of hotel overlooked school so could be noisy. TV very hit and miss as to whether it worked.location great for lake and water sports but poor for restaurants. E bike tour of lake worth doing and can be hired from hitel direct.

A little bit of luxury

Beautiful modern hotel and spa. Our room was a generous size and the balcony had a great view of both mountain and lake. Very helpful staff who arranged bike hire and spa treatments. Close to a big grassy beach. A good half hour walk to the old town, so evening restaurant choices are more limited, but there are some closer ones nonetheless, as well as one (Lona) in the hotel.
