The cabin in the pines is a perfect getaway on Lewis Smith Lake. It is walking distance to a public boat launch and the dock has an empty boat slip for your boat. Roughly 2.5 miles from grocery stores and restaurants in downtown Arley. It is on a quieter part of the lake with deep, clear water year round - a perfect place to relax, float, or swim. The backyard is truly magical with a secluded wooded lot, string lights, spacious patio and fire pit. Relax and toast s'mores with the entire family. The cabin features four bedrooms, two baths and nine beds. It has a second entertainment room downstairs with Xbox for the kids. High speed Internet is provided.

There are 105 steps to the beautiful deep water. It is totally worth it, but if stairs are not your thing then this may not be for you.

Perfect Spot for a Family Gathering

We had an amazing time, and loved all things this property had to offer. Its back a bit from the main part of the Lake so great for riding around without 500 People all around you. The house was setup great and had all the amenities in the house that we needed. Our Favorite part of the house was the Fire pit and the fire wood provided. This is a $100 value by itself as the Firewood at the stores runs $7-$10 a bundle and would need a minimum of 5 for one night. Also the icing on the cake was the cleaning people found some items we left and not only notified us but shipped them back to us. 5 Stars on this hidden Lake Gem!!!

Updated home, with beautiful view of lake.

This home housed the number of people we needed for my son’s wedding for out of state guests. It has a lot of beds and is really nicely decorated. The location is just beautiful! Would recommend it!

Family weekend

We had the best time at your sweet cabin on the hill. Everything was so homey. We had a picnic with our family for my nieces graduation. Everyone loved being there. We even enjoyed clapping & cheering for everyone when they would come back from the boat dock;) we had many ask us about renting the place for theirselves.

Thanksgiving 2022

We hosted out of state family for Thanksgiving 2022. The kitchen was very well stocked to cook a Thanksgiving dinner!! No paper plates nor plastic dinnerware was needed!! No cookware needed!! The dining table was the best!! It served us well for eating and games. So many beds!! Comfortable pillows and plenty of blankets. The home has three levels with decks on each level to spread out. The fire pit patio was a huge bonus for evenings!! No neighbors to see. Lots of privacy!! Plenty of parking. Dollar General within 5 minutes. We typically rent for out of state family and this home so far has been #1 on our list of rentals. If there was one thing I’d like to of have seen would be an extra sofa or loveseat for the main living room for those times that we as a group wanted to all be together relaxing. Although the furniture was definitely comfortable and nice the living room only seated 4 people comfortably. This is not to take away from all the other great amenities.

Our first trip to Smith Lake, not our last!

We really enjoyed the house! It had plenty of room for all of us and it was really clean and well stocked! We would suggest a little more seating in the living room but they have a separate hangout place in the basement but our kids wouldn't stay down there. Haha. The stairs are a plenty, but not terrible and makes for a beautiful view! The boat dock was perfect for one boat and our 2 jet skis and the ramp was super convenient to the house.

Ladies weekend

We stayed at this beautiful lake house for 3 days for a girls weekend. The house was very spacious and could easily accommodate a large family ! we had everything we needed in the kitchen / laundry etc. The gas grill was out of gas so we were unable to use that but otherwise we found everything satisfactory! As with many lake rentals - the steps going to the dock are brutal but we considered that our work out for the day 😏

Nice view

Overall, very nice setting, nice woods, great parking. Appreciated the additional items in kitchen, fan in main bedroom, towels, etc. Wish the wifi would have been stronger. If you are looking to be disconnected from this busy world, this is a great place to do that:)

Wonderful get away
