This was our third time staying here - the location is excellent, and the rooms facing the loch are gorgeous. The biggest complaint would be the noise as we could hear the doors opening and closing for most of the night. We didn’t stay to watch the band but we could hear them in the room which was annoying as we came to the accommodation to relax in an area with nature. Having the band finish earlier would have made the experience nicer.
Parking was pretty safe. There isn't much around to eat so be ready to have meal/ breakfast at the hotel ( with additional price) or have on the road after you leave hotel.

Hotel is in an amazing location and good value - clean but very tired decor in need of a revamp - car park can be limited and you may need to use the adjacent private pay car park so be sure you do pay - Saturday night entertainment on 11th Oct was surprisingly good for a single musician though it was noisy in my bedroom on first floor - food was hearty and very acceptable- good value stay in great location just be prepared for tired interior
Sadly this hotel did not meet my expectations. There was mold on ceiling in our first room, staff did try and make it right by offering another room which was an improvement to the first but the bathroom had mold on the ceilings there as well. The cold water tap only ran intermittently and the shower was a trickle with no water pressure and to complete the bathroom tour there was significant damage in the back of the bathroom door. There was a nice thick dust layer on the shelves and table was very wobbly. We had dinner but sadly my meal was forgotten and the rest of the table was finished dinner before I even received mine. I wanted to like this place due to the beautiful location but overall was quite disappointed. It could definitely use an overhaul.

Quite sad really; clearly very under staffed.
Breakfast appalling; no cups; breakfast food run out, and had to wait ages to replenish
Kitchen doors no clean
Clearly, the hotel relies on coach parties and not individuals/family
Sadly, when things aren’t good, one starts to find faults and the experience is remembered for the wrong reasons.
Nice setting and lounge relaxing g and comfortable
Would not hurry back

The hotel was in a lovely spot across the road from Loch Long. It was clean and the beds were comfy but we struggled to get the shower to work so I opted for a bath instead. The hotel was noisy with highway traffic and employee dumpster activity out back. It is very old therefore the floors above you are very creaky.
Breakfast buffet had many missing items as a tour bus load had just gone through and we didn’t have the time to wait much longer for them to restock. I would not stay here again.
The location of this hotel is wonderful. The staff were friendly and the bed was comfy. The food was ok but not great for vegetarians. Overall a perfect place for a good night sleep but expect no frills other than the stunning views.
Good facilities and nice rooms. I had a room with a loch view. Nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Nice peaceful location but the village also has a couple of pubs. the village r din

Old Hotel with slow lift. Broken toilet seat. Needed binoculars for the small TV. Ate at hotel meal wonderful with beer.
Loch view good. Room had leak from ceiling/room above water running down wall, dried by morning. Informed reception. Buffet breakfast not great. Staff quick to clear tables. Noise transfers from other rooms easily e.g. TV
