Felt Welcomed at The Flat Iron Hotel Asheville

Check in was quick and easy and there were several great parking options. The hotel lobby gives off an old school, luxury vibe. The Room was incredibly comfortable including Air Conditioning which worked perfectly, a very comfy bed, solid black out blinds, nice drinkware, robes, nice towels, botanical toiletries and excellent water pressure. I had an over the top experience at the hotel restaurant on an unsuspecting Monday night. The Service was impeccable, with my server providing some of the most wonderful descriptions of the menu items that I have ever heard in my life. Ace was an amazing server. I was blown away by the Quality of the overall dining experience. The Chefs even sent out a few special little treats. The experience was made special by the exquisitely thoughtful and creative rotating menu items—the food speaks for itself and is a perfect match for the absolutely wonderful ambiance and atmosphere that the serving team creates for their diners. Of course, the cocktails are great as well. There was a wonderful coffee and tea station with ice on each floor in addition to fresh coffee in the Lobby. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area for a night or for a longer vacation. Easy access and truly wonderful and welcoming people who work here.

I love staying here. This time was a little noisier than last time and we had trouble sleeping. I would like to know if they have a bigger room if I go back. Our adult kids went and we couldn’t socialize in our room due to it being so small. Overall I would go back.

Charming stay in Asheville

Definitely consider a stay at the Flat Iron when in Asheville. The historic charm comes through the modern updates with thoughtful design. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a surprise beverage upon check-in. The bed is very comfortable and the shower water pressure is strong (bonus!). Location is walkable to several dining and beverage options, yet the blackout shades provided an environment for a restful sleep. Several thoughtful touches make this a memorable hotel. We will look to stay here again!

The hotel itself is an experience. Spectacular views from the rooftop, great nightcaps in the speakeasy, and our room was super comfy. We had our dog, who received a super plush dog bed upon arrival. Great staff and experience all the way around. Will definitely be back!

During our 2-night stay, staff couldn’t have been any more helpful, from when we pulled up in front to when we pulled out to leave. Check-in and check-out were quick, welcoming, and seamless. The room was very quiet and very clean, although a little small, and the bed was perfectly comfortable. Excellent location. We will return.

What a nice overnight stay on our way home to Cincinnati. Staff are very friendly and there are many restaurants in walking distance. Rooftop bar and breakfast caffe just an elevator away! The speakeasy was so cool to end the evening. Highly recommend his boutique hotel!
