Overall it was great stay. I’m ok the noise from the road but someone will mind. The curtain in the bathroom should be removed or redesigned. It’s uncomfortable

Decent stay in Athens …

3 night trip to Athens , booked it because it was close to Subway. The neighbourhood is not to most glamorous in the city but it’s doable. Room was clean and the hotel was good none the less.

The hotel is just a minute walk from Omonia metro station and it’s on a main road - you don’t have to go into any sketchy alleyways. I was alone and felt totally safe walking to/from the hotel. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless.

The room was spotlessly clean, and as described. It was very convenient for all attractions and we were able to walk to everywhere as needed. We would stay here again and really enjoyed our time in Athens.

Ares Athens Hotel provided a mostly comfortable stay for my friend and I this weekend. The beds were a little hard, but from the amount we walked everyday, we fell right asleep every night. The rooms were mostly clean except for finding hairs on the sheets and on the blankets. The location, although a little sketchy at night, was a very short walk to all of the tourist attractions and very good food. The cleaning service was great and the staff was very friendly. Definitely would recommend if you’re on a budget.

The hotel is not in the centre . It’s on the outskirts of where you want to be. This is an honest review. It’s the dirtiest hotel I’ve been to. There were stains on the pillow case. The fridge didn’t work and was in an old broken cupboard . I felt very unsafe here even when I checked in mid afternoon. I immediately took photos and went online to find somewhere else to stay despite having paid for 4 nights in advance. I took the key to reception and told them and they didn’t seem surprised that I left.

Perfect Budget Friendly Hotel, with all the basic necessities that you need! Conveniently located in the Center of the City, making it very accessible to catch all the Transportation options in Athens! The Staff was extremely kind and helpful! The property was not cleaned properly,when we checked in the room had not been cleaned. The wifi was very slow, there were bare wires. It was in a good spot. There were fleas and bedbugs. The hotel photos are not the hotel now.
