Breakfast was good. AC great. Rooms are ridiculously small. I had a window in the room that had a view to the elevator shaft. Same with window in the bathroom. Absolutely no window in an already very small room. It was claustrophobic! Noise. I was suspect when I saw earplugs on the night stand. Restaurant next door has live entertainment, but not for too long. Front entry door was difficult to use. Beware…6-8 stair steps in entry foyer up to next floor to get to reception desk. Ok for short stays, but I would be sure not to get stuck with a room like what I was given again. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Really close to restaurants, markets and the metro.

The staff was very helpful in assisting me with directions and transportation. The breakfast was extensive with both a buffet of cold items (delicious pastries) and a menu of hot items. Located within a block of a main street, it was easy to catch a cab or walk to shops and food.

The bathroom was small but had everything we needed, and the location was super central - 10min walk to the centre of Athens. I booked a single occupancy and the first room they gave me did not have a window (only a mechanical shaft full of AC units and no light or fresh air). They finally agreed to change my room and that one was with a window. The breakfast was quite good. The property is a bit worn down— stained hall carpets, towel racks and soap dispensers about to fall off, peeling wallpaper mural— and could use some maintenance. They have a very small elevator, but only starting at one floor up. The room AC worked well and was new and maintained.

We had a great time. The Hotel is in a great location altough the block it's on is tawdry. At the end of the block, Athinas street leads to a metro station (Minastariki) for 9 euros instead of a $55 euro taxi ride. Near the station is the Temple of Hepheastus that is much better preserved than the major Acropolis. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Everything is spotless. But the rooms are cramped and our 2 were somewhat dark.
