This is a truly one-of-a-kind apartment, with original interior design elements from the 70s, combined with all the modern comforts! It is spacious, bright, and perfectly located next to the sea, on the coast of Athens, 20 minutes away from the city centre.
We are very excited about the newest addition to our group of homes! This apartment has been in our family for years! Its most distinguishing characteristic is its unique architecture and amazing 70s style interior. The apartment was specially designed by a very talented architect, who was also a good friend of our family.
The apartment is spacious (130sqm) and split across three different open levels, which look like flowing one into another. The kitchen, a WC and the dining area are located on the lowest level. The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring brand new kitchen appliances. Then a set of steps leads up to the bright and airy living room. The living room is very comfortable and also offers a Smart TV and a desk area. In summer you can also enjoy the delightful balcony, which overlooks the Flisvos Marina.
The mezzanine-style upper level is occupied by an open plan bedroom/bathroom suite and is probably the apartment’s most distinctive space! The bedroom features a double bed and a walk-in closet. The beautiful bathroom offers a roomy shower and two sinks. The toilet area is separated with a door. Although the mezzanine-style upper level is open, and overlooks the living room, it is smartly designed so that one can close the doors and turn the mezzanine level into a private bedroom/bathroom suite separated from the rest of the apartment.
Due to the special character of this apartment, we feel it is the ideal place for couples! On the other hand, it is so spacious, that it can comfortably accommodate more guests, such as families, or a small group of friends. In this case, the two sofas in the living room can convert into beds.
The apartment is located in the area of Paleo Faliro, which is part of the Athens Riviera. It is an upscale, safe and very pleasant neighborhood. When staying in this area, you have the privilege of enjoying the breathtaking sea view and the beach, whilst also being just 20 minutes away from the city centre of Athens (Syntagma). The neighborhood's greatest pride is the stunning Flisvos Marina that features a lovely promenade with restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, a playground and even an open-air cinema in the summer season. Finally, the true and most recent gem in the area is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center which includes new facilities for the National Library of Greece and the National Opera, as well as the 210,000 m² Stavros Niarchos Park. The park has truly upgraded the entire area, and is perfect for families with children, pleasant walks, running and relaxing.
