6 Person Holiday Home in Ätran

This pretty little cottage is surrounded by nature. It is peaceful and quiet here, except for the birds singing in the woods around you. The cottage was renovated in 2016 and is set right by lake Mjöasjön, an excellent place for fishing and swimming. The one-storey cottage contains a beautiful open plan kitchen and living room. There are three small bedrooms, one with a double bed, the second with two single beds, and the third with one single bed. The bathroom features a WC, washbasin, and shower. Your cottage is set in the area of Fegen, well known for it's many pretty lakes and it's wildlife. Your nearest neighbour is your landlord who lives 75 metres away and that house can barely be seen from your cottage. This is an excellent place for those who seek privacy and peace and quiet. Should you feel like shopping, you are within driving distance of Ullared and it's extremely popular bargain shop Gekås. Gekås offers everything from food and clothes, to toiletries and tools at discount prices. People travel from all over Sweden to shop here. In Ätran, 12 kilometres from the cottage, you will find an excellent sports- and leisure centre with a heated outdoor swimming pool, a gym, fishing, golfing and other activities ( http://www.atrans-turist.nu/index.php?sida=1&lang=). Your cottage is 50 kilometres from the lovely summer town of Falkenberg. Why not take a day trip and explore this popular summer resort? Falkenberg offers plenty of beautiful walking paths and excellent fishing opportunities. There are also tennis- and riding possibilities. The popular beach Skrea strand is not far from the town centre. There are plenty of other lovely bathing spots within a few kilometres distance. Stroll through the Old Town and admire the picturesque view, stop for a coffee in one of Falkenberg's excellent cafés, such as Ståhlbom's and Borgmästargården. Take a walk along the River Ätran and admire the stunning view. Falkenberg offers shops, restaurants, bars, music events and many other activities. Another nice place to visit is Tylösand, one of Sweden's most famous and popular beaches, situated close to Halmstad, also about 50 kilometres from your holiday home. Please note: There's a bathing dock by lake Mjöasjön where you can go swimming. Children should be supervised though, since the water gets deep very quickly. The bottom of the lake by the dock is not sandy but consists of rocks and stones.The view of the lake is limited from the cottage but you have a good view from the outdoor sitting area at the front of the cottage.
