The staff made my stay incredible. I got sick while ther, they attended to helping me with reservations, understanding the transport and had great, off the beaten track, suggestions for spending my time there. They were friendly, and the accommodation was relaxing, clean, and convenient.

The only issue was that there was no space inside the shower cubicle to place soap/ face wash. I don’t know if that’s how all the rooms are or just the one we had. We had to put things on the floor or position it very carefully on the taps but they would still fall off.

We arrived at 5am after a 12 hour flight- exhausted! The staff were so kind to offer us the ability to wash up at their gym facility and secure our luggage until the room was ready. The location can't be beat!! Far enough from the pier and tourists but close to the marvelous restaurants and parks within walking distance!!

Great apartment with a nice kitchen and laundry in the room, which I used. AC is a little dated, still I was able to keep the room at a cool temperature

Jessica at Reception was friendly, charming and helpful. Within 10-15 minute walk to Albert and Victoria Parks and the harbor. Room was very nice. Comfortable bed. Clothes washer was in room; no dryer that I could find. I had a kitchen unit with refrigerator, stovetop and microwave; basic cooking necessities--pots, pans, etc. No condiments, cooking oil or spices were supplied. If you like to cook bring your own or purchase from one of the several local grocery stores nearby. I did not see an on-site restaurant. The property does offer room service dining as well as discounts when guests eat at a local breakfast cafe. The lack of restaurant was not of concern to me as I prepared my meals in room. The staff I met were friendly, polite and helpful. I very much enjoyed my four-night stay in May 2025. I mentioned the noise. To be clear, my room was very quiet. Noise referred to was due to the property's location in the Central Business District, the area is quite busy with tourists, locals going to and from work, automobile traffic, etc. which one encounters when walking about the area. I recommend the CityLife Auckland.
