The staff is the only positive experience. The hotel building is quite old and needs improvement. The hallway carpet is old and stained. The food was acceptable until we saw cockroach at the coffee area.

The bed was comfortable, sunk down slightly, pillows fantastic. Food expensive but taste good. No microwave in room so can't reheat food. Chipped bath and black around drain hole was disappointing, so due to infection control I couldn't take a bath. Pool is outside and didn't want to swim as its like a fishbowl, where everyone can see you. Loved the toiletries.

The property is very closely located to Auckland airport and you can easily jump on highway to get to CBD or go down south. There is ample free parking which is a bonus as most places either don't have parking and if they do is very expensive. The Staff were exceptional from moment we checked in till we checked out- very friendly and accommodating. The overall rooms and some parts of the hotel seem little old/ run down due to age but from the convivence, exceptional staff and overall charges- I would highly recommend this place and will def stay again.

Lovely hotel, but of a maze trying to find the room in endless corridors. Would be nice if the pool was heated as the kids were a bit gutted. Room was a good size and good selection of TV channels. Food was decent at the bar too Tablet table in the kids area wasn’t working and the staff didn’t really seem to help at all? Also the bathrooms could do with new silicone as there was some mould around the tub. Minor things really

The room has horrible a stench and had to keep my windows open. The heating circulated the foul smell in the room. I felt itchy sleeping on the bed and just grossed out how the room feels and smells filthy dirty. Staff are friendly and welcoming but the facilities are just horrible I felt unclean just being in the room. So dated and unclean.
