Enjoyed the accommodation but found the service when booking in was rude and abrupt, I did not feel welcomed. Basically everything was just too hard what how I felt when checking in. Information listed on the website about parking was incorrect and caused issues for journey as well as information about getting taxi at 4am etc again we were given incorrect information with not a lot of options at 4am in the morning to get to an international flight.

Location walkable to everything in city. Safe . Quiet. Breakfast in price of room. Bacon barely cooked. But could ask for crispy bacon which came out cold. But overall would stay again. Helpful staff. Maintenance man very helpful when we couldn't open our luggage lock. Quick taxi service when departing. Bed comfy. AC working. Room compact but enough to sleep room for 2 to move around. Bathroom walls are glass so if u happy to be watched showering its the place to go.

Breakfast was a good combo of healthy options like eggs and toast and fruit with alternative options like donuts, pancakes and pastries. It also had sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, cereal and coffee and juice! Room was simple but nice. Lots of stores and restaurants all over the place within walking distance. Had a nice bay view on the 16th floor. Overall would recommend!

Had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Auckland. The location was perfect — right in the city centre, within walking distance to great cafes, shops. The room was okay and surprisingly quiet for a central spot. The complimentary breakfast was simple but fresh. Only downside was the limited parking options nearby. Ideal for a short city stay.
