This neat, well-appointed two-bedroom apartment in the La Quinta building puts you right in the middle of all of it, in a modern building that offers the comfort of a quality short stay without the noise and pace of the immediate city centre.

The apartment is clean, calm, and thoughtfully set up — the kind of place that earns its consistently high cleanliness scores through careful maintenance rather than flashy presentation. The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area is comfortably furnished with air conditioning, a Smart TV, and high-speed WiFi. The kitchen is genuinely well equipped: oven, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, a coffee machine, and all the cookware and utensils needed for anything from a quick weeknight dinner to a proper home-cooked meal during a longer stay. In-unit washer and dryer are included.

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with quality linen. The second bedroom has a single bed — well suited for a child, a travelling companion wanting their own room, or a solo guest on a business trip. Parnell is Auckland`s oldest suburb, and in many ways its most distinctive. Named after British politician Sir Henry Parnell and developed from 1841, the suburb preserved its Victorian cottage character through the decades when much of Auckland was being modernised — and that decision has paid off handsomely. Today, Parnell Road and Parnell Rise run through what feels genuinely like a heritage village: restored Victorian cottages now house excellent cafés, boutique homewares, design studios, and some of the most consistently awarded restaurants in the city.

The dining scene is exceptional. Cibo has been one of Auckland`s landmark restaurant experiences for years, set in a courtyard off St Georges Bay Road. Tala on a cobblestoned Parnell laneway brings contemporary Samoan cuisine to national and international attention — named by TIME as one of the world`s greatest places in 2026. Red Rabbit Coffee Co. on Faraday Street is where serious coffee drinkers find their morning. La Cigale`s Saturday French market brings oysters, artisan bread, pastries, and produce to the neighbourhood every weekend. Beyond the dining, Parnell is exceptionally well-positioned. The Auckland Domain and War Memorial Museum are a short walk from the apartment — the Domain`s 75 hectares of parkland, duck ponds, and the Parnell Rose Gardens make for one of the finest morning walks in the city. Auckland Hospital is a very short distance away, making this apartment a natural and considerate choice for guests visiting patients or attending the hospital for extended periods. Check in available after 3pm through lock box key collection. Lock boxes are located a short distance away, full details will be sent prior to arrival. We advise collecting the keys on your way to the apartment, if coming to the city via taxi or UBER, ask the taxi to wait a second while you collect the key. The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!
