The restroom was not clean but over all everything was ok
Our stay at La Quinta was not what we expected. The check-in clerk was distracted on her computer when we arrived. She had to interrupt her conversation to help us check-in.
Our room AC unit was very loud that every time it turned on, we couldn’t hear the TV or each other speak. We had to turn it off during our stay.
The bathroom shower heat was very loose we had to be careful when turning it to different sprayer functions. The walls had writing and marks on them.
On the 3rd day of our stay, our room service was incomplete. Only 1 of the 2 beds were made up. The other bed was not even done and left alone. For the one that was made, only the top sheet was made with the bottom sheets left undone. That was disappointing.
When purchasing from the market store downstairs, we asked that the items purchased be charged to our room. We were told that we had to pay for them at the desk and charging them to the room was not possible. What is the purpose of providing a credit card at check-in for incidentals if we’re not able to charge anything to it.
For our future visits to Austin, we will look for other accommodations for our stay.

The breakfast was so limited, no healthy options, really poor. The attention in the front desk was so bad, they didn’t have any type of Kindness
I did a pre checkin on line before I got there. So key pick up was a breeze. ( We however were staying three nights) but the employee who checked us in only keyed it for one night. So we had to get new keys when our keys did not work the next day. The usb ports on my night stand did not work, but I always travel with a 10 foot cord so I just plugged into another wall out let. Room was clean (suite) and bed was comfortable. There was a broken shelf in the bathroom. Towels were large and fluffy and we did have room service all three days. Breakfast was good. Hot entrees and waffles. Hotel was about a 10 minute drive from downtown Austin. Free parking. Restaurants within driving distance.
Great location! Facility not really to standard to that brand. Checking was quick and room was close to elevators as requested. Cleaning and upkeeps do need attention. At least one pillow had stains and the TP holder was broken. Again great location! Not sure that I would book there again mainly because of stained linen.
